Need for female voice for ISS

Fri 5.5.2017 9:42 am

There are only male professors in our unit and thus our unit is usually giving presentations from the perspective of males as usually professors gives those presentations. However, Information Systems Science (ISS) has female staff that has experience and could be working as a voice of females when giving presentations to students the public audiences. Likewise, there was experience that males easily talk dominating manners and thus overrides females in discussion and this was experienced as problematic.

Whilst giving public presentations or having events, make sure that both females and males are performing in those situations. It is not always needed that professor is on the stage, we should engourage all members of ISS to give face and voice for our unit.
