- Organise a sensitising workshop/training on communication for academic staff members and professors.
- Invite an external expert to conduct it.
- Include the topics related to gender equality and diversity.
- Provide examples of inappropriate behaviour (e.g., patronising and arrogant treatment towards subordinates) to make the participants reflect on own behaviour.
- Raise awareness among the participants about possible own unconscious biases and stereotypes, which they might not yet be aware of, but which might impact their people-related decisions.
- Encourage the participants to advocate for equality and diversity in the future.
- Collect feedback from the participants and, in case the workshop/training is well received, consider conducting it on a regular basis.
